The Collective for Cross-Diasporan Reproductive Justice (CCDRJ) is working to transform reproductive and maternal health systems by centering justice, equity, and the lived experiences of Black women, femmes, and birthing people across Africa and the diaspora. We aim to dismantle systemic racism, colonial legacies, and gender-based oppression in global health—and build liberatory, community-led models rooted in reproductive and maternal health, access, rights, and justice

Founded in 2023 by collaborators from REPRA Health, Sistersong, Nzingha Maternal Health, and Reproductive Justice Research Instiute alongside the launch of The SEED Exchange, CCDRJ brings together longtime leaders in reproductive and maternal health, drawing on deep ties with groups like the Black Mamas Matter Alliance and the Center for Reproductive Rights.

Through collaboration, CCDRJ connects Black women and femmes across Africa, the diaspora, and the U.S. South to co-create bold, community-driven solutions.
